Then on to step two!

Location: J11, roof of 60
What Are They Doing? Improvising a snare trap, with Enoch's help and direction! Clayton will take his pillowcase and weigh it down with his two coffee mugs and his canister of turpentine; then he'll twist and tie the open end and sling the weighted bit over the eave of the nearby window that's protecting part of the roof from snowfall, letting it hang freely. He'll cut one of his 2x4s (a previously soggy one) into two hooked parts with his steak knife, attach them by the hooks as a line and trigger, then tie one of them to the pillowcase's free, unweighted end, and the other one to the shoelaces from his sneakers, fashioned into a noose. The trigger will be buried in the snow near the prints and the noose loosely buried near it. If successful, the noose should secure whatever it catches, the pillowcase will act as a counterweight to drag it off the roof, then dangle it over the eave until Clayton and Enoch can fetch it in the morning.
