The recording continues after death, though it becomes obscured somewhat by the snow. Still, it catches something large approaching, clearing away snow as it travels. It scoops Brian's body and the tablet up into itself, and from that point it's too dark to see, but it doesn't seem to move for a period of time, so this may be what's cleaning up the graffiti.

The tablet turns off shortly after the thing begins to move again.
