Most standard compound microscope models provide free sockets (1 to 2) for attaching additional objective lenses to boost the magnification power. Is this one of those types of microscopes? If so, would House be able to open the binoculars Quark found using his tools (screwdriver, scalpel, wrench, wire cutters, and hammer), extract the objective lenses, and (through some MacGuyvering), be able to slot these into the microscope?

Would this change whatever he sees?
