The thing coming for the other group is physically stronger than anomalies typically are; it's possible to keep the doors and windows shut, but it will be a struggle as the thing throws its bulky form against the entry points. Adding the fabric as a barrier helps, though those who are less physically imposing amongst the group may need to double up to keep it from getting in.
