Al may keep his suit of armor body, but he will still have to sleep and eat to survive as well as be able to die of exposure. However, if you cut him he will bleed through the armor, and inside there are still organs, though they will not necessarily make sense, be in the right place, or function properly. His suit of armor will have been sealed up to try and keep everything inside.
