Search Requests

Search Requests

While traveling through Norfinbury, you and your characters may want to search for more plot-relevant items. There are also squares on the map that no one has traveled to, and remain a mystery until explicitly uncovered. Thus, the search page has been created for this use. This page is not for reporting standard movements; if you need to do that, follow the directions on the character movements page. You can also find the square allowances on that page: remember, a quick search takes one square of movement, while a thorough search takes two!

In order to have your character search an area, first find the comment of the location your character will be searching. There are general area comments at the beginning for uncovering new squares, searching outside of buildings, and talking to @ADMIN or other things not tied to a specific building. If your character is trying to speak to @ADMIN, simply use the header for the area your character is currently in. After those are building comments for searching inside of buildings. We will reply back within two days informing you what your characters found. Search requests will always receive some sort of reply, even if it's just "there isn't anything interesting here". We will also do our best to hint if there's something more your character can do, if this place has already been thoroughly searched, or if there's just nothing there at all.

In order to submit a search request, please put the IC day you're doing your search in the subject line and fill out the following form:

Search Request
Area Searched: Morgue
A6 - 33 - "Thoroughly"
Anything Else? One, please excuse my double-posting. This is also under my movements! This is Kid's first participation in Bad Experiments.
Kid intends to stay the night here, per House’s suggestion. Before beginning anything, he is going to set his tablet across the room with a good view, so that it can video-tape everything. With the bedsheet he collected earlier, he is going to tie himself to the handle of one of the body cabinets inside the morgue so he can’t leave. He’s plenty thin, so he’ll be able to loop it round himself twice in a figure-8 pattern and leave himself very tightly bound, to a point where he’s pretty much pressed against the wall of the body cabinets. The knot will be at his waist. From here, he is going to blindfold himself using the bandage strips he’s made from a different sheet to cover his eye. He will ensure the strip also covers his ears, and also put on his earmuffs to ensure he can’t hear. This is to test House’s theory that without a preconceived notion of what kills people in the morgues, they will be able to see its true form.
When he’s good and sure that he’s stuck in place, he will use his one twist-tie to stick his hands together. He's able to get himself free, but it's not easy and it's intended to slow him down so that he can't go for the knot of the sheet.
Then, at seven fifty-five, he will use voice commands to call Gregory House and begin recording. He will also be calling Mycroft Holmes.
FUN TIMES.
He is entirely alone.
