Re: REVISION REQUEST

Here you go!

Personality addendum: Before the Operator came into his life, Brian was more or less a normal guy. He was calm, easy going and generally friendly. The fact that he managed to befriend Tim in the first place shows that he was a caring person, willing to work his way past someone's defenses to make a friend instead of just giving up and letting them be. He's responsible for getting Tim involved with the Marble Hornets movie, showing that he's more than willing to help his friends out by encouraging them to grow as a person. He even compliments Alex's script at one point, a move which seems to be more polite and friendly than something the script actually deserves.
Brian is also shown as a bit of a joker and somewhat cautious. When Alex takes him out to the abandoned hospital as fodder for the Operator he's uneasy being there. While he might sense something off about the whole thing he voices his concerns as not being sure if they should be there, implying that he doesn't like to break the rules.
He was also rather trusting of his friends, which turned out to be a bad trait in the end run.

--

While most of his old personality has been eroded away ('calm' is most certainly not a term that applies to him and he doesn't really get the concept of joking anymore), there are bits of it still left. The most notable is his desire to help; while Jay and Tim have become pawns more than friends he still sees himself as helping them. Helping them reach a shared goal, sure, but still helping. His methods have shifted from friendly encouragement to puzzles and breadcrumbs, but it’s still helping in his mind. And he understands that if you want something from someone its best to offer something in return, so he'll be trying to assist others in figuring out the mysteries of Norfinbury.

Given Snowblind's setting he'll be forced to interact with people more often than he had in canon. Much like a wild animal, the more he interacts with people the more comfortable he'll be around them. His 'friendly' is never going to be the same as it was before the Operator but over time he'll be more likely to classify people as allies instead of just pawns.
