Not that Kid can see it or hear it, but late in the night, the wall opens up and something pushes its way out. Kid can feel the vibrations, and he begins to get dizzy and disoriented, but that's the only sign of what's happening. The rumbling gets worse and worse until it stops. Kid suffers an awful nosebleed. Then something ice cold touches him, and that's the last he's aware of. At some point, Kid dies.

The video is the strangest thing: there's an instant of the wall opening, the area behind it completely filled with static, and then the video goes dark and silent. It's still running, though--it's as if the tablet were as blindfolded and earmuffed as its owner.
