Obituary

The town of Norfinbury publishes obituaries over the network every two IC days (six OOC days). If your character dies for any reason (due to IC actions, as part of a hiatus, or as a result of being idled/dropped), you are required to report their death here. Due to the time-sensitive nature of the obituaries, we ask that you do not backdate deaths into a prior obituary period, and please be mindful when you plot a character death. Characters who have died as a result of IC actions will revive at erratic times. Additionally, upon revival, they will suffer a temporary loss of a major sense, ability, emotion, or memory for a minimum of three OOC days and a maximum of one OOC month. Moderators will roll for the amount of OOC days (between one and seven) until your character revives. We will reply to your report with the day and time that your character will revive as well as where they will be reviving. However, we will not be deciding what your character loses as a result of their death. Type of Death: Hiatus - he'll be tripping and falling onto one of the rubble piles outside a building, severely injuring himself when the jagged end of a thin wooden board pierces his stomach. His group will drag him inside and attempt to help him, but he'll be dying of his injuries sometime after lockdown, and the others will be stuck with his body overnight. 8] As for his return date, that's a little up in the air - I'll OOCly be coming back late on the 24th, but I know that's butting right up against the Spiritual event. If the event takes a lot of OOC pre-planning/coordination that I'd miss out on (I'll be completely internetless from the 16th to the 24th) and I'm not able to participate because of that, I'd like to revive him on the 29th/163M. But if the event is something I'll be able to jump right into, a revival on the 25th (161N) would be great! So uh... whichever you think is better, because idk what the event is all about yet and it probably won't be revealed until after I've left. SORRY THIS IS COMPLICATED.

Loss: His ability to use words, whether verbal, written, or typed. He'll have to gesture/draw/generally find other means if he wants to communicate with people. He'll still be able to make non-word noises, though.

Loss: Tony is going to lose his memory of being himself, if that is allowed? He'll forget ever being Tony Stark and only have his "Iron Man" memories, with blank gaps when he tries to remember anything beyond that. He won't have any personal identity of his own, just memories from his made-up persona of being Iron Man when he pretended he was his own body guard. Trying to recall who he is will trigger some deep, undeniable dread in him, but he won't be able to place why. He'll recognize the loss and have to question being human at all since he has no memories of his own, but any sort of reminder will cause intense fear and discomfort for him that increases if it is forced.
