Applications are closed permanently. Thank you to everyone who has applied over the years! Before applying for a character, make sure you've read the rules and FAQ. You should also refer to the application guide to see what we're looking for in our applications. You may apply for one character per application cycle and three characters total. Please put your character's name and canon in the subject line of your application comment. Applications must be posted directly to this post and cannot be links. We will screen your application if you request it of us after we review it. Application challenges are allowed, but someone who did not place a reserve challenge cannot challenge a reserved application. Once reservations expire, an application challenge can only be placed before we process the character application of the applicant you would like to challenge. In the event of us nearing our application cap and having more applications than slots, we will attempt to choose the most well-written applications. First-time applicants will be processed first, then applications for second characters, and finally applications for third characters. We may allow more applications to be submitted than we have slots for in the name of greater selection. We will clarify in our response if an application is not being allowed into the game because of the cap or because of issues with the application not meeting the standards of the game. Suitability: While Apollo may have no supernatural powers to note, he has been at the center of various crime scenes. Even then, he openly admits that he's seen corpses more than he'd like to. Apollo's independent due to his orphanage history. He'd be able to fend for himself if the situation allows for it.

This is Apollo Justice speaking. Just recently my group ran into some trouble and we've lost access to our maps. [ There's a loud audible sigh attached to the end of his sentence.]
None of us know how to reach the rendezvous point. It's been one thing after another, unfortunately. [Apollo then thinks to himself that things can't possible get worse. This feeling of being in trouble...it kind of reminds him of being in court. It's not a new feeling, but it's not pleasant either. Apollo folds his arms together and then frowns in disapproval. ]
I'd like to get back on track as soon as possible. We're going to be fine! We're just lost and most of us are unharmed...for now. Let's keep it that way! I'll provide more details on our situation as soon as I get into contact someone. It should help.
Anyways, if you're out there be careful. This isn't exactly your average place.

There's snow, snow, and even more snow. A blizzard went through here recently and it doesn't seem to be letting up anytime soon, which is a shame. Apollo would like to get out of this cramped building because he's been stuck inside of it for about a week. He's beginning to feel slightly claustrophobic. Being in the same place should be the least of his problems, actually. This facility definitely lacks a heater and a soft bed. The floor is hard and difficult to sleep on. The room itself has some working utilities but everything that's a necessity is unusable. It's more like being trapped in a dungeon, if anything. Sadly, the weather is beginning to affect Apollo. Is he going to be fine? Probably not, but just to be reassure himself he'll shout at the top of his lungs.
"I'm Apollo Justice and I'm fine!!"
The cold isn't preventing Apollo from doing his regular "Chords of Steel" routine. The act of saying he's fine makes him feel like he's really going to be fine. That's just what he needs in this situation when everything seems so hopeless. About a moment later he stumbles across something very important. It's a set of gloves and it looks like there's only one. The gloves themselves look slightly worn out although that's hardly an issue here. Even a dirty looking glove can keep you warm in a situation like this.
"This might be the lucky break I was hoping for. It's so c-c-cold. "
He lets out a short cough possibly because of the cold weather or possibly because he was yelling so much. It could be both. Anyways, just as he's about to put the pair of gloves on he notices someone else in the room. They appear to be shivering even more so than he is. This makes Apollo feel slightly angry because this isn't the way things should be. It's not fair, he thinks this to himself in silence. Why can't everyone have basic necessities? Carefully Apollo approaches a stranger and taps them on the shoulder while smiling. Phoenix Wright did tell him to smile when things became difficult. Now's one of those times where Apollo shouldn't frown.
"You're going to be fine, here!"
The gloves he found are offered to someone else just in need. It wasn't an easy decision to make sure, but he'll find some way to manage just like he always does. There's no way he's going to die here. Not when he needs to chase after the criminal who murdered his best friend. Apollo's confident in his survival because help is on the way. He just needs to endure this traumatic event for a short while.

Your personality section provides a lot by way of examples and reasons why Apollo is the way he is, which is good, but it reads too much like a history section right now. Please edit your personality section to include a more direct list of traits and motivations. Additionally, could you clarify what you mean by "various clothing" in the inventory? It's unclear if you mean just the outfit he's wearing or if you also mean additional sets of clothing. Thank you!

Apollo Justice is a novice defense attorney. His surname is an obvious reference to his profession as he values law and justice. As a lawyer, Apollo's a studious and organized individual. Whenever he discovers important information he jots it down for later because he might need it. Apollo's eagerness to learn and discover new things is what led him to his current occupation. He's a hard worker and he definitely earned the right to perform as a lawyer. There's a reason why Apollo's a part of the "Wright Anything Agency" and it's because he can do many things outside of being a lawyer too. He's a unique individual with a wide range of talents.
Upon meeting Apollo you'd first discover that he possesses a serious but kind personality. He's got a couple of friends and at the same time he isn't necessarily on bad terms with his rivals either. For example, Apollo consults Klaiver on occasion even knowing they have to face each other as enemies. He wouldn't purposely treat another person poorly - with the keyword being "purposely". Whenever Apollo hurts feelings it's most likely unintentional. He'll be quick to make amends on his own terms if that's the case. Juniper describes Apollo as someone warm and kind like the sun which isn't too far off the mark.
Every day at 5am, Apollo gets up and does his usual "Chords of Steel" routine and that basically involves him shouting "I'm Apollo Justice and I'm fine!". It helps him feel better overall and it's something he keeps doing whenever he feels nervous or anxious. His best friend from school, Clay Terran picked up Apollo's habit as well. It's natural for people to get the wrong idea of him when he's shouting so enthusiastically. At first Phoenix Wright thought that Apollo's name was Mr.Fine because he said I'm Fine so much. To be completely honest, Apollo could probably break glass with all the shouting he does. Screaming loudly happens to be another one of his specialties.
With that being said, it's typical for Apollo to express himself and be overly emotional. Usually he'll expresses how he's feeling in an earnest way. Most of his friends know when he's troubled or upset, even when he's trying to hide his own thoughts. They know when Apollo's not quite being himself. His emotions don't really tell lies. Sometimes his feelings do get the better of him which isn't essentially a good thing. A person who's so easily driven by sentimental thoughts can be led astray. It has happened to Apollo in the past and he was left with many regrets. He tries to rise above that with the best of his abilities though. His flaws are something he's aware of to some extent. Apollo will always strive to do what's right in the end.
If there's something that Apollo Justice exceeds in its detecting peoples nervous habits or twitches. He can see even the smallest movement that indicates distress or tension. If you even bite your lip slightly he'd be able to spot it for himself. At first he thought his ability was kind of freaky, but with time he got used to it. Reading people's body language is one of his key talents. He places some faith in his own senses with mention of his sight in particular. Trucy was the person who made Apollo aware of his ability. She recognized his talents and helped him realize it himself.
Sometimes Apollo can be brave and determined. Even so, it's thanks to his bravery that Juniper Woods escaped from the courtroom bombing unharmed. It's in his nature to take risks every so often. Apollo's own courage often inspires others into being strong too. That's how influential his attitude can be. He can face his own troubles without running away. No matter what happens Apollo Justice is someone who'll look ahead and face everything as it is. He's no coward and he's the very definition of a brave individual. Every time Apollo stumbles he manages to get back up with his own strength.
Unknown to Apollo is his the identity of his mother and the relationship between him and Trucy. Trucy is his half sister and his mother is Thalassa Gramarye. Due to some circumstances Thaslassa had to give up Apollo when he was young. Later on he then grew up into an orphan. The only thing he has from his mother is the bracelet that he keeps with him all the time. It's very important and special to him. While he may not have any memory of his parents it's obvious he cares. Apollo Justice is someone who's powered by his family and friends along with his believe in what's right. The loss of his mother affected him greatly and he's prone to sympathizing to those who have similar circumstances.

Only the living room has survived in this house, but it seals up well enough to provide overnight shelter. Of note is a very old pool table in the center of the room. It's missing pool cues and balls, unfortunately, or you might be able to play a game. "ALPHONSE ELRIC, DAY NINE, TRAVELLING SOUTH EAST" has been carved into the hallway wall.
