Applications are closed permanently. Thank you to everyone who has applied over the years! Before applying for a character, make sure you've read the rules and FAQ. You should also refer to the application guide to see what we're looking for in our applications. You may apply for one character per application cycle and three characters total. Please put your character's name and canon in the subject line of your application comment. Applications must be posted directly to this post and cannot be links. We will screen your application if you request it of us after we review it. Application challenges are allowed, but someone who did not place a reserve challenge cannot challenge a reserved application. Once reservations expire, an application challenge can only be placed before we process the character application of the applicant you would like to challenge. In the event of us nearing our application cap and having more applications than slots, we will attempt to choose the most well-written applications. First-time applicants will be processed first, then applications for second characters, and finally applications for third characters. We may allow more applications to be submitted than we have slots for in the name of greater selection. We will clarify in our response if an application is not being allowed into the game because of the cap or because of issues with the application not meeting the standards of the game. We would like to see a bit more detail put into the personality section--part of it, especially the beginning paragraphs, read more like a history section, so we have more "what" than "why" in regards to her.

That said, most everyone in Gensokyo is the battle-happy type, so she doesn't particularly stand out in that. She is pretty candid when it comes to casual death threats, though, urging people to "hurry up and die" before attacking. Obviously, she doesn't go so far as to carry out the threat. Beating her opponents up comes close enough.
As volatile as she is, she wouldn't attack a normal human being if they don't have the capability to fight like many of the overpowered residents of Gensokyo do for sport. She can be violent, but she honestly does care about protecting people and would help rather than hurt. She'd had centuries of attacking innocent people in the past, but she tries to put that behind her and look to the future.
Speaking of the future, Mokou is actually a little optimistic about hers. She has... people who might be close enough to be called friends, for the first time in a long time. Even Kaguya is something of a comforting presence for her and finding her was the first step to regaining her humanity. Living for revenge was the primary driving force in her life, but now she's curious about learning more about potential other immortals, or even hesitantly befriending mortals like Keine and Sumireko. She'd love to find a way to die, which is why she ventured out from the bamboo forest in an investigation into the urban legends incident. The apathy she struggles with seems to be waning a little--she actually thought that crossing the border into the outside world would be interesting and even claims that "it makes me feel the will to live again. Just a bit." She's regaining a bit of curiosity about the world again, even if she might outlive it.

A standard single-story house with a kitchen, living room, dining room, bathroom, and bedroom. The house is empty, though; it seems like no one was living here even when the town was populated.
